TV-Remote Control Configuration

Aquatrac Instruments has seven different TV Remote Controls that can be used to configure Aquatrac legacy controllers (SmartFlex and SmartAS)
This page contains an image of each TV-RC (TV-Remote Control).
It is important to know that each TV-Remote Control must be programmed to work with SONY TV's. In other words, the SmartFlex and SmartAS controllers,
respond to TV-Remote Control buttons the same as SONY TV's do.

SONY Code: 0 0 0 (zero zero zero)
SETUP: You will only need to use this button if the TV-Remote Control has not been configured to send signals to your controller. If haven't programmed your TV-RC or you are having problems with the TV-RC communicating with the controller, follow these steps:
1. Press the TV Button
2. Press and Hold the Setup Button for 5 seconds then let go of the Setup Button
3. Using the Numeric Button, enter 0 0 0 (zero zero zero)
4. You are finished programming the TV-RC

SONY Code: 0 0 0 (zero zero zero)

SET: You will only need to use this button if the TV-Remote Control has not been configured to send signals to your controller. If haven't programmed your TV-RC or you are having problems with the TV-RC communicating with the controller, follow these steps:
1. Press the TV Button
2. Press and Hold the Setup Button for 5 seconds then let go of
the Setup Button
3. Using the Numeric Button, enter 0 0 9 5 (zero zero nine five)
4. You are finished programming the TV-RC

SET: You will only need to use this button if the TV-Remote Control has not been configured to send signals to your controller. If haven't programmed your TV-RC or you are having problems with the TV-RC communicating with the controller, follow these steps:
1. Press the TV Button
2. Press and Hold the Setup Button for 5 seconds then let go of the
Setup Button
3. Using the Numeric Button, enter 0 0 2 9 (zero zero two nine)
4. You are finished programming the TV-RC

CODE SEARCH : You will only need to use this button if the TV-Remote Control has not been configured to send signals to your controller. If haven't programmed your TV-RC or you are having problems with the TV-RC communicating with the controller, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold CODE SEARCH until the indicator light (LED)
lights, then release CODE SEARCH.
2. Press and release the TV button (top center of remote control).
The indicator light (LED) will blink once then remain lit.
3. Using the number keys, enter 0 0 2 (zero zero two).
4. If 'Password' is displayed on the controller's LCD screen, you
have successfully programmed you TV-RC.

SONY Code: 8 0 1 (eight zero one)
CODE SEARCH : You will only need to use this button if the TV-Remote Control has not been configured to send signals to your controller. If haven't programmed your TV-RC or you are having problems with the TV-RC communicating with the controller, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the Code Search button until the Indicator Light
(LED) turns on, then release the Code Search Button. The Indicator
Light will remain turned on.
2. Press the numbers, 8 0 1. Between each number that you press,
the Indicator Light will momentarily turn off then turn back on.
3. After you have finished entering the TV Remote Control Code (8
0 1) the Indicator Light will turn off. After the Indicator Light turns off,
hit the Enter button.
4. To confirm that the TV Remote Control has been properly
programmed, Press the Power button (PWR) - if the Aquatrac
Controller's LCD Screen displays 'Password:', then you have finished
programming your TV Remote Control

SONY Code: 0 8 0 1 (zero eight zero one)
CODE SEARCH : You will only need to use this button if the TV-Remote Control has not been configured to send signals to your controller. If haven't programmed your TV-RC or you are having problems with the TV-RC communicating with the controller, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the Code Search button until the Indicator Light
(LED) turns on, then release the Code Search Button. The Indicator
Light will remain turned on.
2. Press the numbers, 0 8 0 1. Between each number that you press,
the Indicator Light will momentarily turn off then turn back on.
3. After you have finished entering the TV Remote Control Code (0
8 0 1) the Indicator Light will turn off. After the Indicator Light turns
off, hit the Enter button.
4. To confirm that the TV Remote Control has been properly
programmed, Press the Power button (PWR) - if the Aquatrac
Controller's LCD Screen displays 'Password:', then you have finished
programming your TV Remote Control
